A Haunted House - in Miniature

- From the Verstraete Miniatures Gallery -
Some may have seen some of these photos at my other site or in a past issue of American Miniaturist Magazine, but if you haven't--- BEWARE!
The old stone house on a deserted corner somewhere in New Orleans is open to special guests, and by appointment only.
But you are invited to step inside....if you dare! Welcome!
Notes: The house was kitbashed from a Primrose house kit and covered outside with paper clay. The inside and stone fireplace are also hand-made with paper clay.
The Parlor and Office

Nothing's more fun than creating a haunted house for Halloween - in miniature!
In the parlor, Claude and his wife have been sitting around waiting for guests, like forever (haaaaa!) She's reading (what else?) but a Stephen King novel trying not to pay attention to one of the ancestor ghosts popping out of the mirror. He's, of couse, reading his favorite, MONSTERS Magazine. (Skellie couple are by Detta's Dolls, England.)
Pictures Below: Join in the party, but don't lose your head! (haa!) Party treats made by me - Blood eyeball punch, bottles of wine, bat wings, eyeball salad, steak. Oh, and Mr. Jones popped by and decided to stick around.
On small table, I made the eyeball tart. (The coffin cake and "Toestadas" are from eBay.)
My favorite witch does the paperwork in her study. (Doll also by Detta's Dolls.) Her favorite pet vulture is from Barb's Mini Gems. (More to come as I find the pix...) Watch out for the guy "working" in the back room. (Also by Detta's Dolls.) - Click photos for larger view.
